DPG Packaging Limited

DPG PACKAGING LIMITED - EXPANSION FUNDING PACKAGE

The Collins Partnership provided assistance in obtaining DPG Packaging Limited a loan from The West of Scotland Loan Fund. This enabled the business to move to larger premises, acquire some important capital equipment and increase the company's stockholding. As a consequence it has opened up the ability to deliver on new contracts and provide an increased product offering to its customers.

A detailed business plan to include financial projections for the next 3 years was required and produced by The Collins Partnership on behalf of the company, proving successful in obtaining the necessary funding.

Coastline

COASTLINE ADHESIVE TAPES GROUP - SHARE PURCHASE ACQUISITION

Our existing client, based in Prestwick, identified a business in Filey near Scarborough that fitted into their plans for expansion. This project involved performing the necessary due diligence on PS Adhesive Systems Limited and producing a detailed report thereon. The Collins Partnership thereafter provided assistance to the legal advisers involved in drawing up the share purchase agreement.

The successful acquisition has resulted in a notable addition to the Coastline group, taking it both into product development and product conversion thus complimenting the existing distribution arm of the group.

Brownings

BROWNINGS THE BAKERS LIMITED - EXPANSION FUNDING PACKAGE

As a consequence of the success of this family run business over recent years and the large supermarket customers it is attracting, the Directors decided an extension to the existing factory based in Kilmarnock was required. This resulted in a £1.2m expansion project on both the property extension and procurement of new bakery production equipment.

The Collins Partnership were involved heavily in assisting the business with successfully obtaining a suite of financial funding solutions from their existing bankers the Clydesdale Bank, Scottish Enterprise in the form of RSA grant funding and West of Scotland Loan funding.

Leven Car

LEVEN CARS GROUP LIMITED - TRADE & ASSET ACQUISITION

The Collins Partnership assisted in the company acquiring the trade and assets of the Rolls Royce and Aston Martin dealership based in Edinburgh. This involved providing assistance with the due diligence process and the preparation of a 5 year business plan and presentation pack to not only assist in securing a finance package with Barclays Bank, but the successful transfer of both the Rolls Royce and Aston Martin dealerships.

Hope Homes

HOPE HOMES (SCOTLAND) LIMITED - RE-BANKING EXERCISE

As a consequence of the strategy of the company's existing bank to exit the commercial real estate sector, it was necessary for the Directors of Hope Homes to seek the support of a new bank that had the ambition to support the company's growth aspirations.

The Collins Partnership produced a detailed discussion paper for distribution to various mainstream banks and other funding providers. This evolved over a 15 month period resulting in the successful transfer of the company's banking arrangements to Santander. As a direct consequence this has enabled the company to begin developing out their own land bank starting at Ladywell, Fisherton and closely followed by Botanics, Kilmaurs. House sales on both sites have started extremely well, ahead of initial expectations, with the company going from strength to strength and able to take advantage of other opportunities in the marketplace.
